Lana Del Rey just released a new track, “Mariners Apartment Complex.” If you’ve had enough of the uptempo jams this summer, then this is the perfect track to slow things down as the season comes to an end.

Produced by hitmaker Jack Antonoff, “Mariners Apartment Complex” sounds like a true-blue Lana Del Rey classic. It’s a cruisy, folk-inspired tune with a vintage Californian vibe that the singer’s become known for.

The track begins with a soothing piano arrangement before strings and an acoustic guitar strum come into play. On it, Del Rey sings about—what else?—love and sadness.

“You took my sadness out of context / At the Mariner’s apartment complex / I ain’t no candle in the wind,” she croons on the opening. But when the chorus kicks in, Del Rey reassures her lover that she’ll be there for him: “You lose your way, just take my hand / You’re lost at sea, then I’ll command your boat to me again.”

Released alongside the single is a black-and-white visual, directed by Del Rey’s sister Chuck Grant. The dreamy clip features aerial shots of crashing waves, and Del Rey and her girlfriends admiring butterflies as they stroll along a fence line.

This is an early glimpse of Del Rey’s upcoming album, which is due next year.
