Let the Pet Shop Boys, Years & Years take you to “Dreamland”

A match made in heaven.

Two generations of synth pop artists meet on “Dreamland,” a collaboration by iconic British duo the Pet Shop Boys and London trio Years & Years.

The disco-inspired dance song is a duet between the groups’ two lead singers, Neil Tennant and Olly Alexander. The pair trade lines about escaping to a “free land” where everyone is welcome. “Dreamland, I Iove you / I dream of you all night and day / Dreamland, I need you / I close my eyes and you lead the way,” they sing on the chorus.

“Dreamland” a preview of the Pet Shop Boys’ forthcoming as-yet-untitled 14th studio album. It’s the follow-up to 2016’s Super and scheduled to arrive next January.
