Lauv, Troye Sivan are exhausted of love on “I’m So Tired”

Sometimes getting over a break-up can be hard.

Lauv’s highly anticipated collab with Troye Sivan, “I’m So Tired,” is out now.

The song, co-produced by OZGO and himself, is an infectious dance pop ode to heartaches and break-ups. Lauv and Sivan try to mend their broken hearts by partying, meeting new people and drinking away their sorrows, but nothing works. “Hurts like heaven, lost in the sound / Buzzcut season like you’re still around / Can’t un-miss you and I need you now,” Sivan sings on the bridge.

In a press release, Lauv called working with Sivan an “absolute honor.” “I’ve been a huge fan of Troye’s music and what he does for the world for years,” he said. “When we wrote ‘I’m So Tired,’ he just sounded so good singing it, so I think it was just natural to do the record together.”

The platinum-certified singer-songwriter also added that “I’m So Tired” will be his final release before his debut LP. “This song is the last song I’m going to be putting out until I have my debut album ready. So I figured we’d go out on a heartbroken banger vibe so it’s sad but fun,” Lauv said.

An official release date for the album has not been confirmed. In the meantime, groove to his collab with Sivan, “I’m So Tired,” below:
