LANY, Julia Michaels try to be “Okay” in new MV

They skate away the pain.

LANY have released a moody video for “Okay,” their catchy summer-ready single with Julia Michaels.

In the clip, the group’s frontman Paul Klein wanders on a deserted Santa Monica beach alone. He later reunites with his bandmates at a roller disco derby where they cross paths with Michaels. They then get together and perform the melancholy song in the middle of the rink as masked dancers skate around them.

“Okay” is LANY’s first release since their 2018 sophomore album, Malibu Nights, which includes songs like “Thru these Tears” and “If You See Her.” On the other hand, Michaels dropped her sophomore EP, Inner Monologue Part 1, in January.
