Lana Del Rey has shared a cover of Donovan’s “Season of the Witch,” a song she recorded for Guillermo del Toro’s new horror movie, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark.

Del Rey’s version of the 1966 hit song was first teased in the film’s spooky trailer. “I have admired Lana’s music for a while now and felt in my gut that she would run with ‘Season of the Witch’—that she would use her alchemy to transform it,” Toro said in a statement. “She is a great artist and has been an amazing partner with us in this adventure. It is an honor for me to have met her.”

Del Rey breathes new life into the Donovan classic, her signature wispy falsetto adding a touch of haunting whimsicality to the original. The singer is currently gearing up for the release of her forthcoming album, Norman Fucking Rockwell, due out August 30.
