Lady Gaga makes long-awaited comeback with ‘Chromatica’

A return to her dance pop roots.

Lady Gaga has finally released her sixth studio album, Chromatica, four years after her last LP, Joanne.

The hefty 16-track record marks a return to the pop star’s dance pop beginnings, and features production by hitmakers such as BloodPop, BURNS and Axwell. The album also includes guest appearances from Elton John on “Sine from Above” and BLACKPINK on “Sour Candy.”

Other songs on Chromatica include the previously released singles “Stupid Love” and the Ariana Grande collaboration, “Rain on Me.” The deluxe edition of the album also features the song “Love Me Right,” a piano demo of “1000 Doves” and a “Stupid Love” remix.

Prior to Chromatica, Lady Gaga starred opposite Bradley Cooper in the 2018 remake of A Star is Born, which featured the Oscar-winning song, “Shallow.”
