King Princess shares previously unreleased track, “Ohio”

It will appear on the deluxe edition of ‘Cheap Queen.’

“Ohio,” a previously unreleased track from King Princess, is out now.

The song, which was originally debuted live in 2018, arrived alongside a Cody Critcheloe-directed music video. The clip opens at a retro pub where the singer born Mikaela Straus performs for a group of burly men.

“How’s it been in Ohio, babe? / Do you think about me when you’re going home?” she wonders over a delicate guitar melody. Soon, the drums kick in and the scene cuts to Straus rocking out at one of her shows. At one point during the video, the singer rips into a gnarly guitar solo and smashes her axe into a drumkit.

“Ohio” is expected to appear on the deluxe edition of King Princess’ 2019 debut album Cheap Queen, which arrives sometime later this year. In the meantime, check out her new video below:
