Justin Timberlake, Anderson .Paak team up for “Don’t Slack”

The latest offering from the ‘Trolls World Tour’ soundtrack.

Justin Timberlake and Anderson .Paak have joined forces for “Don’t Slack,” the latest offering from the Trolls World Tour soundtrack. Both singers also lent their voices to the upcoming movie.

On the upbeat single, co-produced by the singers with Ludwig Goransson, the two artists hype each other up with motivational lines. “Ooh, imagine all the lives that we can save / You don’t even know the power you got in them legs / Pick up your face and be proud for once / Go quit your gig and get down with us,” Timberlake sings.

While speaking to Beats 1’s Zane Lowe about the song, Timberlake also revealed that a collaborative project with .Paak could be on the way. “I hope he doesn’t mind that I’m gonna say this right now, but we talked about a possible joint project,” he said. “We talked about it, but yeah, he’s a busy man, too. I told him as well, I was like, ‘You need to enjoy your moment, bro.’ He played me new stuff the other day. That dude is so gifted. He’s so good.”
