J Balvin, Dua Lipa, Bad Bunny collaborate on “Un Día (One Day)”

An all-star line-up for the reggaeton pop ballad.

J Balvin has enlisted a superstar line-up for “Un Día (One Day),” a new song featuring Dua Lipa, Bad Bunny and Tainy.

Tainy and NEON16 helmed the production on the mournful yet danceable ballad, which arrived with a melancholic music video directed by filmmaker Stillz. Netflix’s Money Heist star Úrsula Corberóv stars, processing her pain and anger alone in the mostly monochrome clip.

“I hope this song transports you to an island somewhere… even if only for a moment,” Lipa wrote on Instagram. Addressing Balvin, Bad Bunny and Tainy, she said, “After hearing your words, the production and reading your lyrics, I was excited that you asked me to write and add to your story. I hope we painted the picture just how you had imagined in the first place. Thank you for having me as part of your vision.”

“Un Día” follows Balvin and Bad Bunny’s 2019 joint album Oasis, which in turn came after their appearance on Cardi B’s “I Like it” the year before. It also marks the first single for all artists since their album releases earlier this year: In March, Balvin and Lipa dropped Colores and Future Nostalgia, respectively, while Bad Bunny put out YHLQMDLG in March and Las Que No Iban A Salir in May.
