iKON don’t need your pity in fiery “I’m OK” MV

The K-pop boyband wrap up their ‘New Kids’ era with a somber mid-tempo track.

K-pop boyband iKON are wrapping up their New Kids era with “I’m OK,” which leads their New Kids Repackage: The New Kids compilation album.

The video starts with a shot of a crashed car engulfed in flames. It then transitions to moments prior, when group member and song co-writer BI wakes up and steps away from the car, singing the chorus: “I’m OK / Don’t comfort me, don’t pity me / You don’t need to be by my side / ’Cause I’m OK.”

The rest of the clip isolates the members in their own scenes, matching the somber song’s theme of loneliness, until they reunite at the very end. The video was produced by VM Project Architecture, the same minds behind Seventeen’s ”Oh My!” and Tiffany Young’s ”Teach You.”

“I’m OK” was released alongside New Kids Repackage: The New Kids compilation album, which includes all three of the group’s New Kids EPs, as well as 2018 album Return and digital single “Rubber Band.”
