Hyoyeon serves up “Dessert,” featuring Soyeon, Loopy

It arrived alongside a colorful, ’90s-inspired music video.

Girls’ Generation member Hyoyeon—who releases solo music under the moniker HYO—has enlisted (G)I-DLE’s Soyeon and South Korean rapper Loopy for her new song, “Dessert”

Soyeon opens the EDM track with a verse that’ll have you salivating: “Chocolate, candy, fruit, honey, butter waffle and / Marshmallow, mango juice, I eat them up easily / Even when I keep something with a deeper flavor in my mouth / It just melts away.”

Loopy then jumps in with more food references before Hyoyeon takes over for the chorus. “When it melts down so sweetly, that’s enough / No more or less for me / You know what I deserve / Dessert, dessert, dessert,” she sings.

In the music video, Hyoyeon and Soyeon perform energetic choreography in a car workshop, as neon lights shine from above. Loopy also makes an appearance halfway through in his own scene that features trippy edits.

“Dessert” is Hyoyeon’s first release since last year’s “Badster.” Watch the video for her new song below:
