Hear Charli XCX’s new quarantine album, ‘How I’m Feeling Now’

The record was written, recorded and released in self-isolation.

Charli XCX has released her fourth full-length album, How I’m Feeling Now.

The record is a special one: The 11-track project was written and recorded over a six-week period while the singer was in self-isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It includes the songs “I Finally Understand,” “Claws” and “Forever.”

“I’m only going to be using the tools I have in my fingertips, the people who I can reach online, the things I have in my house to create my music, my artwork, my videos, to create everything,” Charli said of the album when she announced it last month.

How I’m Feeling Now is the follow-up to the singer’s 2019 album, Charli. That record featured guest appearances from Troye Sivan, Christine and the Queens and Lizzo.
