Hayley Kiyoko drops magical video for “I Wish”

She casts a spell to forget an unrequited love.

Singer-actress Hayley Kiyoko has released a fantastical, The Craft-inspired video for her latest single, “I Wish.”

In the clip for the moody pop track, Kiyoko and a group of her friends—including fellow actresses Madison Pettis and Maia Mitchell—gather to cast a spell to help her forget an unrequited love. Afterward, they break into a sleek choreographed dance sequence as memories of Kiyoko’s love interest disappear from her mind.

“It’s really hard when you love someone who doesn’t feel the same way,” Kiyoko said in a press statement. “In this video, I wanted to bring to life the support group we all need when our love for someone isn’t being reciprocated. Having a strong support system of friends is so important to remind us we are loved and we are not alone.”
