Halsey celebrates birthday with deluxe edition of ‘Manic’

It dropped alongside a nostalgic video for “929.”

Halsey has released a deluxe edition of her latest album Manic in celebration of her 26th birthday on September 29.

The expanded version of Manic features “Be Kind,” her previously released collaboration with Marshmello, plus a new remix of “Without Me” with the late Juice WRLD. The deluxe edition also includes “Wipe Your Tears” and “I’m Not Mad,” which were previously only available as bonus tracks, as well as stripped-down versions of several album cuts.

Alongside the release of the expanded version of Manic, Halsey also shared a nostalgic video for the album’s original closing track, “929.” The visual chronicles the singer’s life from childhood to achieving success in the music industry with archival footage, all projected on the walls of an eerie-looking bedroom.

Earlier this month, Halsey released her first live album, Badlands (Live From Webster Hall). The release was recorded during her two-night stint at the famous New York City venue in 2019.
