Hong Kong singer Jackson Wang, who’s also a member of K-pop group GOT7, has returned with a new solo song, “100 Ways.”
The electropop song arrived alongside a sleek video that pays homage to Wang’s Chinese heritage and culture. It features the K-pop idol performing martial arts-inspired choreography while dressed in ancient Chinese costumes.
“There’s a hundred ways to leave a lover / I won’t wait a minute longer / Hundred ways to leave / But I’m the only one that you need,” Wang sings on the chorus. The song was produced by British songwriter Lostboy, who previously helmed Rita Ora’s “How to Be Lonely” as well as Zedd and Kehlani’s “Good Thing.”
“100 Ways” is Wang’s first release via 88rising, in collaboration with his own label Team Wang. Last year, the K-pop idol made his solo debut with Mirrors, which peaked at number 32 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
