It’s been hectic for Five Seconds of Summer lately. The Aussie pop band recently dropped a new single, “Want You Back,” announced their third album Youngblood, and then hopped on a plane to Europe to promote them. But if the outfit’s new behind-the-scenes clip is anything to go by, it’s all been an exhilarating ride.
The video’s a montage that takes you to cities in Sweden, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands, where 5SOS played. Street scenes with fans, backstage footage and clips of sold-out arenas fill the seven-minute ‘mini documentary.’ It’s all very feel-good, and if you’re a fan of the band, you’ll lap up every second.
But the highlight of the video’s the band’s hopes and dreams for 2018, which revolve around the desire to create good, new music (we’d love that, too). Bassist and vocalist Calum Hood wished “for this year to grant us creative freedom with our music,” while guitarist Michael Clifford hopes that their fans will “feel like they’re watching a new band.”
