GFriend turn up the heat with “Fever” MV

Perfect for all your summer bop needs.

K-pop girl group GFriend have dropped a music video for “Fever.” It’s the lead single from their latest mini-album, Fever Season, which arrived yesterday.

On “Fever,” the girls depart from their signature sentimental sound, instead opting for tropical house beats and sleek EDM synths. Yet, the track still retains powerful melodies and expressive vocals that the group are known for. The accompanying music video features GFriend dancing energetically against colorful backdrops that are chock-full of summer imagery.

Fever Season is GFriend’s follow-up to their sophomore LP Time for Us, which was released at the beginning of this year. The eight-track project also features songs such as “Hope,” with lyrics written by the members themselves.
