Producer Mark Ronson’s been putting the finishing touches on an album of “sad bangers,” as he put it. Following “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” with Miley Cyrus is the new track, “Late Night Feelings,” featuring Lykke Li.
Li is one of music’s foremost purveyors of sleek melancholy, so it’s no wonder that Ronson called on her for this project. Together, they’ve crafted a song where sound is married perfectly to message. Li sings of “trying to find a new distraction” and “wanting to make it last all night” over Ronson’s seductive production, which is all but designed to propel you to the dancefloor.
“Late Night Feelings” is the title track of Ronson’s forthcoming album, due out June 21. Other artists set to feature on the album include King Princess and Yeeba.
