Foster the People have delivered an engrossing visual for their latest radio-friendly anthem, “Style.”
Directed by frontman Mark Foster, the music video finds the lead singer marshalling a motley crew in a warehouse while businessmen types with paper stacks for heads close in. The paper-pushers seem to want to break in and steal a huge golden globe, which the group eventually set on fire before fleeing to the outside world.
Foster the People’s last full-length was 2017’s Sacred Hearts Club. The Los Angeles outfit have yet to announce its follow-up, but perhaps this new song signals more fresh music on the way.
