Fleur East is back with “Favourite Thing”

Sadly, there’s no sax on this new bop.

Remember Fleur East? The English artist broke out in 2016 with the smash hit “Sax,” a massive, horn-filled anthem. Well, she’s back now with a brand-new song, “Favourite Thing.”

Trading the soulful tunes from her debut for an Afropop dance bop, the track features East singing about a lover who’s become her new—you guessed it—favorite thing. “Love when we’re in the dark / We’re laying heart to heart / Don’t really know your repertoire, just show me who you are,” she belts over a finger-snapping beat.

By the time “Favourite Thing” explodes into the final chorus, you’ll be singing along to its catchy hook—if you aren’t already pulling your sickest moves. And who knows, this song might just be your next favorite thing, too.
