Fanxy Child reunite for stylish new “Y” video

The South Korean hip hop supergroup are back.

Fanxy Child, the South Korean hip hop and R&B collective founded by Block B’s Zico, have dropped off a music video for “Y,” their latest offering since 2016’s “Bermuda Triangle.” 

Over a melancholic beat produced by Millic and Stay Tuned, Zico, alongside Penomeco, Dean and Crush, flow effortlessly over skittering hi-hats and tinny synths. The trap-inspired track marks the outfit’s departure from their earlier experimental and more hard-hitting sound. 

The single arrived with a sleek visual that mixes real-life with animation. Clips of the members performing the song in an empty building are intercut with shots of them in an interrogation room. Check out the video for “Y” below:
