EXID drop one last EP, ‘We,’ before going on hiatus

It’s goodbye for now.

Before EXID go on hiatus, the popular K-pop girl group have dropped one more EP, We.

The ladies show their versatility on the seven-track project, which includes the R&B slow jam “The Vibe,” the funky house track “How You Doin’” and a brass-heavy remix of their 2018 single “Lady.” It also features the mid-tempo ballad “We Are,” a tribute to fans co-written by the group.

A video for the club-ready lead single “Me & You” was released alongside the EP. In the clip, the group portray runaway brides who find sanctuary in a neon-lit nightclub. “Oh baby, why? You and I are different, from one thing to the other / You don’t know why / We’re not anymore, we’re not me and you,” they sing.

“There were articles stating that this was our ‘final’ album, but it’s not a complete end,” member LE said during a recent showcase, according to Soompi. “It’s true that this is the final [release] before our hiatus, but [we] are having many discussions, so I don’t think [fans] have to worry too much.”
