Emma Bunton makes comeback with “Baby Please Don’t Stop”

Baby Spice gives us what we want. What we really, really want.

The Spice Girls are set to reunite for a 13-date tour in May, but before they do, Baby Spice aka Emma Bunton is making her musical comeback with the retro-throwback “Baby Please Don’t Stop.”

The catchy, blue-eyed soul track recalls classic Dusty Springfield with its tambourines, groovy bassline and breathy vocals from the singer. In the accompanying video, she performs the song at a photoshoot as she tries on different outfits and goofs off with her family.

“Baby Please Don’t Stop” is one of two original songs from My Happy Place, Bunton’s first full-length in over 12 years. The album is due out April 12, just a little over a month before the Spice Girls embark on their first tour in over 11 (!) years, which kicks off in Dublin on May 24.
