Drop everything and watch Lizzo slay NPR’s ‘Tiny Desk’ concert

“I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time,” she said.

Lizzo’s the latest artist to grace NPR’s Tiny Desk and—needless to say—she killed it.

“I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time,” the singer-rapper said as she set behind what she called the “tiny ass desk” to a screaming audience. “So I think I’ll do it, today,” she added, before launching into a spectacular rendition of “Cuz I Love You” that flexed her vocal prowess.

After some banter with the audience, Lizzo jumped into a sassy version of her Billboard Hot 100 smash hit, “Truth Hurts.” For her final song, she performed “Juice,” which she closed with an impeccable flute solo.

“This was really, really special,” she said as things started to wind down. “I just want everyone to remember if you can love me you can love yourself, every single day.”
