Christine and the Queens have dropped a breathtaking new video for “Comme Si,” a single from the 2018 album Chris.

Frontwoman Christine—real name Héloïse Letissier—is known for her love of dancing and her kinetic performances. The video for “Comme Si” takes advantage of that, allowing her to deliver a singular interpretation of the story of Ophelia, from Shakespeare’s classic play Hamlet. The David Wilson-directed clip opens with Letissier, like Ophelia at her time of death, floating in a lake surrounded by flowers. But it soon takes a remarkable left turn into a thrilling dance sequence.
