Christina Aguilera performs “The Christmas Song” on ‘Seth Meyers’

’Tis the season for a bluesy rendition of the holiday classic.

Christina Aguilera recently made an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers to debut a new rendition of “The Christmas Song.”

The pop star performed her bluesy take on the Nat King Cole classic from her home, standing in front of a lit-up Christmas tree and grand staircase. Looking gorgeous in a plaid pantsuit, Aguilera sleighed the performance with her signature powerhouse vocals.

“And so I’m offering this simple phrase / To kids from one to 92 / Although it’s been said many times, many ways / Merry Christmas to you,” she crooned.

Aguilera originally covered “The Christmas Song” two decades ago, for her 2000 holiday album My Kind of Christmas. Earlier this year, she released the song “Loyal Brave True” for Disney’s live-action remake of Mulan.
