Charli XCX is back with “Gone,” an epic duet with Christine and the Queens off her forthcoming album, Charli.

The track, which features a pulsating beat provided by AG Cook, arrived with a steamy music video. In the Colin Solal Cardo-directed clip, the duo perform the catchy song while tied to opposite ends of a car. They eventually free themselves of their bonds and dance atop the car amid a flurry of rain and fire.

“This song is about feeling isolated and alone in crowded rooms,” Charli explained on Twitter. “The feelings of anxiety and learning to be comfortable with who you truly are. It’s about breaking down and breaking free.”

“Gone” is the latest single from Charli, which will also include the Lizzo-assisted “Blame it on Your Love” and “1999,” featuring Troye Sivan. The record arrives September 13 via Atlantic Records.
