Last Saturday, Celine Dion wrapped up her historic 16-year run at Caesars Palace’s The Colosseum in Las Vegas by premiering a euphoric new song, “Flying on My Own.”

The iconic singer performed the EDM-inspired tune in a sparkling gold dress, as the stage lights pulsated in time to the thumping, club-ready beats. “My feet on the runway, it’s a beautiful day / I look to the sky now, I’m finding my way / I’m flying on my own / On the wings of your love,” she belts on the chorus.

“There are lots of wonderful memories, you know, but it’s kind of strange at the same time, because when they started to put it together I was here and it was like, ‘I don’t know,’” Dion told the audience about her residency, according to People. “Then I must have misunderstood something because I thought I was going to be here for three months or something like this, and here we are 16 years later. Maybe we have saved the best for last.”

“Flying on My Own” is the lead single from Dion’s forthcoming LP, Courage, due out November. The record will be her first English-language full-length since 2013’s Loved Me Back to Life.
