BTS tease new album with cinematic clip, “Euphoria”

The video is a delightful montage of the (manicured) inner workings of a K-pop boyband.

South Korean boyband BTS, or Bangtan Boys, on Thursday teased their new album with a video, “Euphoria: Theme of LOVE YOURSELF Wonder.”

And euphoric it is. The eight-minute-long visual, which garnered 13 million views in five days, cuts from scene to scene in a montage of the boys’ lives. Youthful, high-spirited and—yes—extremely manicured, the onscreen depiction of what it’s like to be in BTS may not represent reality, but it sure looks hella fun.

After a few minutes of retrospection, BTS dash down the corridors of a hospital and break through the exit door—and then you’ll hear Jungkook usher in the sensual title track. It’s an uplifting tune that sees the band venture deeper in the waters of dance and electronica, all while crossing the Pacific with their legion of fans.
