BTS’ new album, ‘Map of the Soul: 7,’ is out now

Fourteen brand-new tracks from the K-pop juggernauts.

K-pop superstars BTS have finally unveiled their much-anticipated album, Map of the Soul: 7.

The full-length features five of the seven songs from their 2019 EP, Map of the Soul: Persona, alongside 14 brand-new recordings. Among the fresh tracks are solos from members V and Jin, as well as the song “Louder Than Bombs,” which was co-written by Troye Sivan and Allie X.

Other tracks on Map of the Soul: 7 include the previously released “Black Swan” and “Interlude: Shadow.” The digital edition of the LP also includes an alternate version of lead single, “On,” that features Sia.

The accompanying video for “On” is an explosive showcase of the boyband’s impressive choreography, featuring an extended dance section break that’s not included on the album version of the song.

Map of the Soul: 7 is BTS’ first full-length Korean-language album since 2018’s Love Yourself: Tear, which was their first to top the Billboard 200 albums chart.

Last year, the boyband collaborated with Western acts Zara Larsson and Charli XCX on the songs “A Brand New Day” and “Dream Glow.” They also released a remix of “Make it Right” with Lauv.
