BTS cover Coldplay’s “Fix You” for ‘MTV Unplugged’

They also performed the cuts from their latest album, ‘Be.’

BTS have shared a cover of Coldplay’s “Fix You,” which they performed during their much-anticipated appearance on MTV Unplugged.

The rendition of the 2005 hit came as a surprise to fans, who’d expected the boyband to only perform songs from their latest album, Be. The septet stayed true to the original for their cover, which came during the middle of their MTV Unplugged session. Their rendition of “Fix You” has since received praise from Coldplay, who called it “beautiful” in Korean.

Elsewhere during their MTV Unplugged appearance, the boyband also performed four cuts from Be: “Telepathy,” “Blue & Grey,” “Life Goes on” and their chart-topping hit “Dynamite.” The MTV special also featured a myriad of elaborate sets and costume changes.
