BTOB’s Lee Minhyuk shines on his solo debut, “Ya”

It’s the rapper’s last release before enlisting into the military.

BTOB’s lead rapper Lee Minhyuk has made his solo Korean debut with “Ya” and the LP Hutazone.

The future bass track is an instant earworm thanks to its catchy chorus where the rapper shows off his vocal chops. The song was released alongside a trippy video with cosmic visuals. In a cheeky treat for fans, Minhyuk performs the dance break with nothing under his jacket.

“Ya” is the lead single from the Minhyuk’s 11-track debut album, Hutazone, which features an appearance from So-yeon of (G)I-dle and a duet with fellow BTOB member Yook Sungjae. The album is likely to be the rapper’s last release for the time being, due to his upcoming enlistment into the South Korean military on February 7.
