BLACKPINK want to “Kill This Love”

The K-pop sensations are back to slay.

BLACKPINK have made their much-anticipated return with the fierce single, “Kill This Love,” the title track of their sophomore EP.

The electropop tune features bombastic brass, a strong bassline and marching band percussion. The quartet also switch effortlessly between English and Korean on the catchy track. “We must kill this love / Yeah, it’s sad but true / Gotta kill this love / Before it kills you too,” they sing on the outro.

The song was released alongside a vibrant, high-octane video. In the clip, the ladies perform the single in the crumbling ruins of an old building while sporting Tomb Raider-inspired outfits.

Kill This Love follows last year’s Square Up, which featured the international hit, “Ddu-du Ddu-du.” The global sensations are set to make history on April 12 as the first K-pop girl group to perform at Coachella, before embarking on their first North American tour.
