Becky G shows off her hometown in “Green Light Go” MV

Becky G has released a video for her latest single, “Green Light Go,” that pays homage to her hometown of Inglewood, California.

The Eif Rivera-directed visual, which was shot on location in the Los Angeles suburb, showcases the Latina artist hanging out with friends in the vibrant neighborhood. She even breaks out some well-choreographed dance moves in the second half of the video.

“‘Green Light Go’ to me represents not taking no for an answer, making my own path and giving myself my own green lights,” Becky said in a press statement. “I am a proud Mexican-American, concrete rose, born and raised in the streets of LA.”

“Green Light Go” is the latest single from the 22-year-old’s forthcoming debut album, following January’s “LBD.” She previously collaborated with Kane Brown on a Spanish remix of “Lost in the Middle of Nowhere.”
