Bebe Rexha teams up with Lil Uzi Vert for “Die For a Man”

The pop star’s fourth single in anticipation of her sophomore album.

Bebe Rexha has teamed up with Lil Uzi Vert for her new single, “Die For a Man.”

On the empowering track, both Rexha and Uzi reject their past dependencies on romantic relationships.

“I would never die for a man, die for a man, die for a man / No, I would never cry for a man, cry for a man, change who I am,” Rexha sings with conviction on the chorus.

“Die For a Man” is the fourth single off Rexha’s upcoming sophomore album Better Mistakes. It follows the singles “Baby I’m Jealous” featuring Doja Cat, “Sacrifice,” and “Sabotage.” Her collaborator Travis Barker has also recently teased a snippet of another new Rexha track in an Instagram post.

“My album is based off of honesty and vulnerability and insecurities and speaking upon those insecurities,” the singer said of the upcoming LP in an interview on her YouTube channel. “What we wanted to do with this album was really write songs that were based off of insecurities and everything that I ever feel embarrassed about or fearful about. And we just did that on an album.”

On the other hand, Lil Uzi Vert recently appeared on YSL Records’ Slime Language 2, ZillaKami’s second solo single “BADASS,” and a posthumous track by FXXXXY.

Bebe Rexha’s Better Mistakes—which will also feature Ty Dolla $ign and Rick Ross—is due out this Friday. Listen to “Die For a Man” here:
