Baek Yerin drops sophomore album, ‘tellusboutyourself’

It arrives exactly a year after her debut LP, ‘Every Letter I Sent You.’

Former 15& member Baek Yerin has dropped her sophomore album, tellusboutyourself.

The English-language LP was released on December 10, exactly a year after her debut full-length, Every Letter I Sent You. The K-pop singer wrote the lyrics for all 14 tracks on the album, with additional work from South Korean producers Cloud and Bang Minhyeok on composition and arrangement.

“With tellusboutyourself, my fans will get to listen to my current taste and traces of thoughts because it’s a compilation of songs that I want to perform on stage at the present time,” Baek told Bandwagon. “I hope it shows that I’m capable of telling more than love stories, and that it’s all-English lyrics engenders opportunities to meet my fans across the globe.”

tellusboutyourself was released alongside videos for the songs “0415” and “Hate You.” Baek doesn’t appear in the cinematic visual for “0415,” which captures a group of dancers living in a sprawling mansion. On the other hand, the clip for “Hate You” follows the singer as she wanders around a deserted hotel in search of a ghostly figure.
