Ariana Grande, Victoria Monét drop “Monopoly” collab

To celebrate her eighth week at the top of Billboard Hot 100 with her single “7 Rings,” Ariana Grande has shared a brand-new song, “Monopoly.”

Featuring Grande’s BFF Victoria Monét, who co-wrote most of the songs on Ari’s chart-smashing album Thank U, Next, “Monopoly” is a playful, confident bop that boasts the duo’s recent successes. They brag about their wealth, celebrate their friendship and shake off any pessimistic thoughts. “Bad vibes, get off of me / Outta here with that fuckery / Treat my goals like property / Collect them like Monopoly,” they sing on the chorus.

In a tweet, Monét said the song is dedicated to all their fans. “[We] appreciate you so much and really fuck with the support you’ve given in all forms!” she wrote.
