Ariana Grande teases new single, “The Light is Coming”

The 20-second clip hints at a collaboration with Nicki Minaj

Ariana Grande sent her fans buzzing with excitement once again with a tweeted video of her lip-syncing in the car to her forthcoming single.

The video is labeled “The Light is Coming.” It’s one of the songs, she recently confirmed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallonthat’s set to appear on her upcoming album, Sweetener. The 20-second clip shows her singing along to a snippet of the song before Nicki Minaj’s unmistakable voice drops in, pretty much confirming their collaboration.

The snippet teases a verse rapped by Minaj, with the lyrics: “Why you have to make me call up my side guy / Can’t let a F-boy eff up my nights, right?” with Grande entering the verse after singing: “The light is coming to give back everything the darkness stole.”
