Ariana Grande taps Miley Cyrus, Lana Del Rey for new song

“Don’t Call Me Angel” is the theme song of the new ‘Charlie’s Angels’ reboot.

Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus and Lana Del Rey have teamed up for “Don’t Call Me Angel,” the official theme song for Elizabeth Banks’ upcoming Charlie’s Angels remake.

“Don’t Call Me Angel” is co-written by the trio, alongside hitmakers Max Martin and Ilya Salmanzadeh, who also produced the track. Ari kicks off the feisty girl-powered number confident and cool before Cyrus enters, guns blazing.

“I make my money, and I write the checks / So say my name with a little respect,” Cyrus demands. Del Rey makes her appearance later on, lending her dreamy vocals to the bridge. The song was accompanied by a Hannah Lux Davis-directed music video that casts the ladies as secret agents.

The Charlie’s Angels reboot stars Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska as the titular heroines. The movie’s soundtrack is co-executive produced by Grande, and will be released November 1 via Republic Records.
