Archival Amy Winehouse vocals appear on new Salaam Remi song

The late singer had recorded the vocals in a jam session.

Last week, producer Salaam Remi shared “Find My Love,” a new song that features vocals by Amy Winehouse, pulled from the archive. The track also features new verses by Nas.

Winehouse’s vocals were recorded during a jam session she’d had with Remi, the producer’s representatives told Pitchfork. The talented yet troubled singer died of alcohol poisoning in 2011.

“Find My Love” is taken from Remi’s forthcoming compilation, Do it for the Culture 2. “Working with friends is the best part of being a creator,” the producer said in a statement. “With Nas and Amy being two of my closest creative partners over the years, this organically feels like the first song from my Do it for the Culture 2 collection of songs.”

Remi had produced Winehouse’s 2003 debut album Frank and co-produced her breakthrough, Back to Black. He’d also produced Nas’ 2012 record, Life is Good.
