Anitta taps Cardi B, Myke Towers for “Me Gusta”

A confident bilingual bop.

Brazilian pop star Anitta has released a new song “Me Gusta,” featuring Cardi B and Myke Towers.

On it, the musicians exchange raunchy lines in both English and Spanish, opening up about their sexual desires. “He like to eat the cake like it’s my b-day / And every day is my birthday / Boy, I like it rough, don’t take it easy,” Cardi spits on her verse before Towers jumps in with his own explicit bars. Meanwhile, Anitta handles the catchy chorus: “I like women / When they shake their ya, ya, ya.”

The bilingual collab was accompanied by a colorful visual starring the trio attending an outdoor fashion show in Brazil. Anitta, Cardi and Towers are all decked out in flamboyant ’fits as they strut down a massive runway and dance along the picturesque streets of Salvador.

“Me Gusta” follows Anitta’s previous summer single “Touch Me” with Archangel and The Ghetto. Both tracks are expected to appear on the singer’s upcoming album Girl from Rio, which was executive produced by OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder. Out December, the new LP will mark Anitta’s official US debut album.
