Aly & AJ drop star-studded video for “Star Maps”

With appearances from Brenda Song, Willam Belli, Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman and more.

Aly & AJ have recruited a bevy of their famous friends for their brand-new video, “Star Maps.”

In the clip, directed by Silicon Valley actress Amanda Crew, the Michalka sisters perform the synth pop song on a ’50s-inspired cabaret set while an eclectic audience looks on. In the crowd are plenty of familiar faces: fellow former-Disney star Brenda Song, RuPaul’s Drag Race alums Willam Belli and Mariah Belenciaga, UnReal’s Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman and Jane the Virgin’s Brett Dier, to name a few.

“We wrote this song in 2017 when the Harvey Weinstein story broke as an ode to the #MeToo movement,” Aly & AJ told PAPER Magazine back in May. “We felt we needed to write a revenge song for the innocent victims of Hollywood’s abusers.”

“Star Maps” is a cut from the sister duo’s latest EP, Sanctuary, which also includes tracks such as “Church” and “Don’t Go Changing.”
