After School ex-member Lee Gaeun releases “Remember You”

The idol has parted ways with both her agency and her longtime girl group.

Lee Gaeun has released a solo single “Remember You,” in light of her departure from the agency Pledis Entertainment and therefore her longtime girl group After School.

The track is meant as a thank you to fans who have supported Gaeun since her 2012 debut with After School. The idol gained newfound popularity after competing on the 2018 talent reality show, Produce 48. She progressed to the top 20, but was eliminated in the final episode of the series.

“Remember You,” which was released July 12, is the singer’s final release under Pledis Entertainment. It also arrived with a sentimental video that’s fitting of the track and its message. Watch it here:
