Adam Lambert has released “Roses,” a funky new song that features Nile Rodgers of ’70s disco band Chic.

The sultry track features the singer’s soulful vocals over disco-inspired guitar licks provided by Rodgers. “And all that I got was roses / Don’t mean a thing without emotions / Baby, just do it right, focus / ’Cause I just needed your love / Tonight, tonight, tonight,” Lambert coos on the chorus.

“Roses” is the latest taste of Lambert’s forthcoming studio album, Velvet, which arrives on March 20. He previously previewed the record with the singles “Comin in Hot” and “New Eyes,” as well as the six-track EP Velvet: Side A.
