6LACK hops on Bea Miller’s new song, “It’s Not U It’s Me”

A song about prioritizing yourself.

Pop artist and The X Factor finalist Bea Miller has recruited 6LACK for her jaunty new single, “It’s Not U It’s Me.”

Co-written by Miller, 6LACK, Justin Tranter and Mary Weitz, the upbeat song taps into the idea of working on yourself before falling in love with someone else. “It’s not you, it’s me, I’m the only one I need / It’s not you, baby, ’cause I’m leaving you for me / I don’t want you blaming yourself, it’s bad for your health,” Miller sings.

6LACK makes an energetic addition to the song, rapping, “You are not the one I wanted / And I started feeling haunted by me / ’Cause I know now what I wanted is peace of mind / It’s not you, I figured I’m done wasting time.”
