Watch Wisdom in Chains’ video for “Already Dead”

The band’s comedic visual proves metal isn’t always dark and brooding.

Hardcore punk rockers Wisdom in Chains just dropped a video for their single, “Already Dead.” It’s a lighthearted (and at times comedic) visual for an angry and feisty track.

In the clip, we meet frontman Mad Joe Black, who’s really… well, mad. He storms through the streets, furiously singing along to the track as he makes his way to the band’s jam sesh to rock out with the rest of the crew.

Other characters also appear in the clip, lip-syncing to MJB’s vocals, including a little girl wearing headphones, and a grumpy man over video-chat on MJB’s phone. It’s all done to comedic effect, a refreshing take on the often intense genre.
