Watch Pig Destroyer’s chaotic video for “The Cavalry”

Featuring fans in face masks and their adorable pets.

Pig Destroyer have released a new video for “The Cavalry,” which is a blitz of wild footage submitted by fans.

From face mask-wearing fans headbanging and shredding to adorable pets and Pig Destroyer performing in non-pandemic times, the clip for “The Cavalry” keeps its tongue firmly in cheek for the song’s brutal four-minute runtime.

Pig Destroyer first released “The Cavalry” as part of Decibel Magazine’s flexi disc series in 2018. The song received an official release in 2019, and will appear on Pig Destroyer’s upcoming EP The Octagonal Stairway. The six-track release will feature an appearance from former Sepultura drummer Igor Cavalera.

The Octagonal Stairway, out August 28, follows Pig Destroyer’s last studio album, 2018’s Head Cage, which featured the tracks “Army of Cops” and “Mt Skull.” The band also reissued their 2000 compilation album 38 Counts of Battery in January.
