Watch Marty Friedman lead an all-star metal cover of Fleetwood Mac

‘Two Minutes to Late Night’ continues to thrive in lockdown.

The YouTube channel Two Minutes to Late Night has convened another all-star line-up of metal musicians, led by Marty Friedman, to cover Fleetwood Mac’s “You Make Loving Fun.”

Friedman supplies scorching solos on the Rumours cut, backed up by Mastodon guitarist Bill Kelliher, Baroness bassist Nick Jost, Lucifer drummer Nicke Anderson and the channel’s very own Jordan Olds aka Gwarsenio Hall. Lucifer’s Johanna Sadonis steps into Christine McVie’s shoes, singing to a skull while laying out in nature, while Emily Panic and Mutoid Man’s Stephen Brodsky provide dramatic backing vocals.

“You Make Loving Fun” is Two Minutes to Late Night’s 22nd remote, collaborative cover, following previous takes on Kate Bush and Rush. All the videos have been made with the support of funders on the channel’s Patreon.
