Watch Lamb of God’s harrowing video for “Ghost Shaped People”

A cut off their forthcoming deluxe reissue of their self-titled album.

Lamb of God have shared the video for their latest single “Ghost Shaped People.”

The Truman Kewley and Eddie Perez-directed clip follows a shadowy humanoid who’s summoned by a horned beast that resembles a faun. The two characters engage in what seem to be a transfer of the former’s soul, as it ascends into the skies. All this happens as stills of the band’s performance play on a screen.

“A message in the bottle / Smashed right across your head / All those years of screaming out / The words you never read,” frontman Randy Blythe howls on the opening verse.

“Ghost Shaped People” is set to appear on the deluxe edition of the band’s self-titled tenth studio album. The original ten-track LP included songs such as “Memento Mori,” “Checkmate” and “New Colossal Hate,” and featured collaborations with Testament’s Chuck Billy as well as Hatebreed’s Jamey Jasta. In September, the band had their song “The Death of Us” featured on the soundtrack of the film, Bill & Ted 3.

Lamb of God (Deluxe Edition) is set for release on March 26. While you wait, watch the video for “Ghost Shaped People” here:
