Watch Killer Be Killed’s new video for “Inner Calm from Outer Storms”

The supergroup’s second album ‘Reluctant Hero’ is out this month.

Killer Be Killed have unveiled a music video for “Inner Calm from Outer Storms,” the third single from their forthcoming LP Reluctant Hero.

Marshalling red-washed strobe lighting and grainy film texture, Killer Be Killed stylized their new music video to mirror the aggression contained within “Inner Calm from Outer Storms.” The supergroup’s furious performance slowly builds from percussion rolls into a tempestuous metal storm of savage guitars and guttural screams.

“‘Inner Calm from Outer Storms’ is about having the ability to sense a distant or unseen target,” bassist Troy Sanders (of Mastodon) shared in a statement. “It explores a journey of reckless abandon where the destination may, or may not, actually exist.”

Killer Be Killed—consisting of The Dillinger Escape Plan’s Greg Puciato, Soulfly’s Max Cavalera and Converge’s Ben Koller alongside Sanders—released their eponymous debut in 2014. Their follow-up Reluctant Hero will arrive on November 20 via Nuclear Blast.
